Robert H. Morgan

Robert H. Morgan is the founder and President of Morgan Law Offices, a Professional Corporation.  Mr. Morgan has been practicing law in San Jose, California since his admission to the California Bar Association in 1978 and he concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, and estate and trust administration.

Morgan Law Offices was formed in 1991 and has received an AV rating from Martidale-Hubbell, Peer Review.

Mr. Morgan received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History from the University of Oregon in 1972; a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University in 1975; and a Juris Doctor degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Santa Clara University in 1978. Mr. Morgan had the honor of serving as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stanley Mosk of the California State Supreme Court in 1978. Mr. Morgan also serves as a Professional.

Personal

Mr. Morgan is married to Susan Parks Morgan and he and his wife operate Triton Morgan Horses in Hollister, California. He is the father of five adult children, Scott, Ryan, Cory, Nate and Kate. Mr. Morgan is proud of the careers of the members of his immediate family. His father, W. Robert Morgan, was a prominent trial attorney. His sister, Hon. Marilyn Morgan, is a retired Bankruptcy Judge in the Northern District of California. Two of his sons are licensed attorneys in California: Scott, who attended Stanford Law School and founded Education Pioneers, a non-profit in the education field; and Ryan, who attended Boalt Hall and founded Morgan Advisory Group, an organization which represents professional athletes. Cory is a police officer for the City of Santa Clara Police Department, Nate is a manager for Symantec Corporation’s eCommerce team, and Kate is an event planner and artist.

Mr. Morgan is on the board of the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, California and has served as treasurer of the National Museum of the Morgan Horse in Shelburne, Vermont and as President of the Youth Science Institute in Santa Clara County.

Gayl Henson

Gayl Henson has been with Morgan Law Offices or its predecessor firms since 1979, working closely with Robert H. Morgan in complex matters. She has worked actively in estate planning and estate administration during that entire period, both in a support role and as a personal representative. She has worked with probate court staff in many counties within California and has assisted on complex estate planning matters.  Gayl has assisted in drafting sophisticated trusts and other estate planning documents. Her expertise is invaluable in efficiently handling a variety of planning and administration matters.
